Aeronautical cartography since 1998 — charts made by pilots, for pilots.
A simple idea, well flown
absoluteZero multimedia GmbH was founded in 1998 with a clear vision for aviation cartography: combine aeronautical system information with detailed topographical mapping. The result is free-flight aviation cartography that adds the information you actually see from the ground — streets, rivers, railways and points of interest — to the airspace data you need in the air.
The Captain's Corner
From early on, the atlas was enriched with reference materials and practical tools, gathered together in the Captain's Corner — converters, decoders, reference tables and safety data that pilots reach for again and again.
On every device
In 2013 the company expanded into digital products, launching the Pilots Atlas app for Apple devices. The app significantly expanded what the atlas could do, letting pilots customise their charts with their own waypoints, notes and annotations — and carry the whole world in their flight bag.
Built on your feedback
We remain committed to user-driven development. We actively seek out suggestions from the pilots who fly with Pilots Atlas, and we keep evolving the product around real needs rather than assumptions.
